We, in the Syrian British Consortium (SBC), stand with Syrians around the world in solidarity with the peaceful uprising of the Iranian people against their brutally oppressive regime. Our hearts go the families of peaceful protestors who were detained and killed by the Iranian security forces.
The violent mentality of the Iranian regime has led to decades of gross human rights violations both domestically and regionally. The people of Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen have been also paying the price of the criminal activities orchestrated by the Iranian regime, its political allies and militias. Therefore, the international community should spare no efforts in supporting the courageous Iranian men and women, who are demanding democracy and respect for their human rights. Realising these rightful demands will not only bring political change to the Iranian people, it will also reshape the polity of the entire Middle East.
